We understand that keeping children up to date with immunizations can sometimes present a financial strain on the family budget, especially if your health insurance carrier does not cover the cost of the recommended immunizations for your child. At Holland Pediatric Associates, P.C. we have made the commitment to participate in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program which provides free vaccine to all children in the following categories:
- Children whose insurance company does not pay for ANY PART of the cost of the vaccine.
- Children with Medicaid insurance
- Children with NO insurance at all
- Children who are Alaskan Native or Native American
How do I know if my child can receive the vaccine free?
Because health insurance coverage differs from plan to plan AND from company to company, you must call the member services telephone number on your health insurance card and ask "Do you cover ANY part of the cost of vaccines for my child?". The health insurance contract is a contract or agreement between YOU the parent and the insurance company, not Holland Pediatric Associates, PLC. Therefore, we ask that you provide us with the answer given to you by your insurance company. We want to help you realize the substantial savings that are available if you qualify!
